  • The aim of CrossFit is to forge broad, general, and inclusive fitness. Our specialty is not specializing. Through constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement, we are preparing for all of life’s random physical challenges. CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program using functional movements to optimize performance in all fitness domains including cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.

  • We love meeting new faces! At Carpe Diem, we offer On-Ramp/Intro courses for all new CrossFit athletes. This is a series of 6 introductory courses where you will learn a variety of skills and movements. This will ensure you are safe and confident as you begin your CrossFit journey!

  • Absolutely! No matter what your age and skill level increased power, speed, strength, cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, flexibility, stamina, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy are important. Options are always provided so that you are exercising at your personal capability. Most importantly, functional movements (such as squatting and deadlifting) are essential to maintaining independence as we age and work to improve fitness! An hour long CrossFit class 5 to 6 days a week lends itself to EXCELLENT overall strength and conditioning. We provide your daily programming and ensure our classes flow so you are in and out in your allotted time period!

  • CrossFit is, quite simply, a sport - the Sport of Fitness. Through natural camaraderie, competition, movement standards and measurable and repeatable fitness data, CrossFit lends itself to providing motivation for continued adaptation and improvement throughout your fitness journey. You can expect every class to run approximately 1-hour long and be led by a certified CrossFit coach. Each class will be broken down into various components, consisting of a thorough warmup/stretch period, a strength period, and finally, the workout of the day (a.k.a. the WOD). You can expect a fun, motivating atmosphere as you and your classmates push each other to reach your greatest potential every day!

  • In CrossFit, we work exclusively with compound, functional movements at high intensity relative to your current fitness capacity. CrossFit can teach everyone to perform exercise and movement safely and with maximum efficacy. Technique is consistently monitored, assessed, and critiqued by qualified coaches and “scaling” and alternative options are always provided to maintain a safe and healthy workout for participants.

We offer all new members a personalized introduction to the fundamentals of our programming in a safe, supportive, and friendly environment. Our class workouts are taught in small-group settings, with instruction from our CrossFit L-1 (or greater) coaches.
